On the 17th and 18th of September, the 7th Consortium meeting for the FitDrive project was held in Munich, Germany.
SECURETEC hosted the meeting for the sharing of the updates and achievements of the project.
FitDrive proposes for EU regulations to oblige truck manufacturers to make more vehicle data availabe over OBDII. These data enable improving road safety for professional drivers. This was just one of the many topics the partners dealt with during the Consortium meeting.
In the morning of the 18th, the FitDrivers had the chance to visit the laboratories of SECURETEC, where the partners walked through the production stages of the tests for the detection of substance. It was an interesting way to live in first person the work put in the project at the hands of SECURETEC.
